Project Renewal

Project Renewal is a New York City based social service organization with the mission of providing everything that homeless New Yorkers need to move from the streets to health, homes and jobs. In March of 2008, Project Renewal entered into a cooperative agreement with St. Christopher’s Inn to house its transitional housing and vocational program, “Renewal Farm.” Residents of the program benefit from comprehensive treatment and health services provided by St. Christopher’s Inn, while involved in helping to operate a small organic farm that serves as a sheltered workshop, allowing the men to develop good work habits and life skills.

During the Spring and Summer, all organic vegetables, herbs, flowers and house plants grown at Renewal Farm are available to purchase at a local farm stand in Garrison, and at the St. Christopher's Inn That Nothing Be Lost Thrift + Antique Shop.
