Jimmy came to the Inn in January 2017 to Project Renewal, which switched over to San Damiano house on October 1, 2017. Jimmy is responsible for the maintenance of the house as well as providing the men with a structured way of living in an aftercare program that prepares them to transition back into sober living within their respective communities. Jimmy has a background in law enforcement having served in three agencies, retiring as a lieutenant and commanding officer. During his career, he spent a great deal of time extracting at-risk youth from the subculture of “gang” life, providing counseling for addiction, court advocacy representatives, and dermatology (tattoo removal) needs. Jimmy is a licensed fire safety director and fire drill conductor, and is FEMA trained in emergency response and mitigation procedures. This is the career that Jimmy has always dreamed of, and is thrilled to have the opportunity to fulfill that dream at St. Christopher’s Inn.
