St. Christopher’s Inn Alumni Association
The St. Christopher’s Inn Alumni Association (SCIAA) is a separate and independent non-profit organization. It is the official and recognized Alumni organization for anyone who has ever stayed at the Inn, as well as anyone who has participated in the Community Day Program, or the Evening Program.
SCIAA holds business meetings on the 2nd Sunday of every month at 5:00 PM at St. Christopher’s Inn. After the business meeting, the alumni lead AA meetings Inn for the current residents (our Brothers Christopher).
SCIAA Chapters
The SCI Alumni Association has chapters across the U.S. (primarily on the East Cost), including South Florida, and are actively working to establish more chapters throughout the Northeast.
Annual Events
Throughout the year, the SCI Alumni Association hosts a variety of special events at Graymoor, including the Paul Manzo Memorial Breakfast, fireside meetings, softball games and reunions. There are other family gatherings held in various locations across the country throughout the year.
Each August, St. Christopher’s Inn partners with SCIAA to host the annual Alumni Picnic on the first Saturday of the month. The day begins with Mass at OLA Chapel, followed by an SCIAA meeting, a barbecue lunch, and a friendly softball game. The event also features music, games, and activities for all to enjoy. It’s a day cherished by the Friars, who take part each year, as well as our staff.
