Telehealth Program
St. Christopher’s Inn now offers remote online addiction treatment through its community outpatient telehealth program.
The Telehealth Program offers individual sessions, lectures and groups on recovery, relapse prevention and family treatment/support.
Treatment planning is developed collaboratively with qualified clinical staff members and individuals seeking services.
You can expect the same quality of care as the men in our Residential Treatment Program.
Our current Telehealth Programs include:
- Keep-Keeping On: Recovery and Relapse Prevention
- Drugs, Hugs, Dope & Hope: Family Treatment and Support Groups
- Continuing Care: For SCI Alumni and their family members.
Eligibility
All telehealth candidates must have suitable electronic equipment to participate in remote treatment services.
If you are not currently a client of the Day Rehabilitative Program, you must submit this online Admissions Referral Form & Virtual Intake Form completed by a referral source or self-completed to determine potential eligibility.
Admissions
The Admissions Department will review referral forms to determine if any additional information is needed and then schedule a pre-admission phone interview to evaluate a treatment candidate’s potential eligibility for telehealth treatment services.
If the candidate is deemed potentially eligible based on that initial evaluation, a qualified clinician from the St. Christopher’s Inn Counseling Department will conduct an admission assessment based on clinical and psychosocial factors and assessment tools, such as the Alcohol Severity Index and the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports’ Level of Care for Alcohol and Drug Treatment Referral Protocol (LOCADTR), to make a final determination.
