Criteria for Admissions
The Admissions Office accepts requests for admission from clients themselves, from concerned family members, and from referral agencies such as detoxification units, outpatient clinics, or inpatient rehabilitation programs.
In order to be accepted for admission into the shelter and/or treatment program at St. Christopher’s Inn, you must meet the following criteria:
- Male
- Aged 18 or over
- Medically Stable
- Psychiatrically Stable
- Financially Cleared (Treatment Payment Options)

If you are being referred for admission to St. Christopher’s Inn by another agency such as a detoxification unit, an inpatient rehabilitation program, or a crisis center, please have a staff member at the referring agency complete the forms attached below. The more information provided the better to ensure a timely scheduled bed date if the client is deemed appropriate for treatment.
