Eileen works with the admissions staff to provide a smooth admission process for clients and their families, from the pre-screening process to the date of admission. Eileen believes that a positive experience in the admissions department is imperative as it sets the tone for treatment. Clients are often fearful or have reservations about entering treatment, and she assures the clients that their medical and/or psychiatric concerns will be addressed at St. Christopher’s Inn. Acknowledging addiction as a family disease, Eileen has built the families into the process, meeting with them on the day of admission to answer questions and allay fears. Eileen has excelled in multiple roles in both the admission and medical departments at SCI before becoming the Admissions Supervisor. She participates in the medical lecture series, and educates the men about the effects of drugs and alcohol on their bodies and wellness, particularly about Hepatitis and Liver Disease.
