Lila is the STEHP/Shelter (Solutions To End Homelessness Program) Coordinator as well as case manager for the ambulatory detox clients. Every morning she conducts orientation for all new arrivals at St. Christopher’s Inn. Lila believes the exceptional attention and care that clients receive when they arrive on the holy mountain makes a significant impact in terms of outcome. She feels extremely grateful to be part of such an amazing and dynamic team.
With a diverse background which includes 13 years as a pastry chef (The French Confection) and another decade in film/video production (Talon Films, PBS), Lila became interested in the chemical dependency field in 2005 while conducting research for a documentary. This interest in addiction counseling and the collaborative clinical process persisted, became a passion that evolved into a career and motivated her to earn her CASAC -2. When not at SCI, Lila is busy raising three daughters, hiking, practicing Reiki and only baking for fun.
