While each man’s schedule varies based on individual needs and treatment plans, the days include a balance of meals, clinical and recovery programming, group activities, reflection, recreation, community and personal time. This daily structure helps men build healthy routines, develop new skills, and move forward on their recovery journey.

- And more…
Depending on an individual’s needs and goals, programming and support can include:

- Educational and vocational services and activities
- Family support
- Individual counseling and group therapy
- Medication-assisted treatment, including Suboxone and Vivitrol
- Medication management for mental health

Our dedicated and compassionate staff work alongside each man throughout his stay, providing care, encouragement and support as he works toward his individual recovery goals. Medical appointments and other health services can also be arranged when needed. Just as important, men become part of a supportive recovery community, where shared experiences and connections with others can provide encouragement along the way.
BEYOND THE DAILY PROGRAM
As men meet their individual goals, additional opportunities become available at the Inn. Men may walk the labyrinth or explore our nature trails, play softball on the weekends, visit the library and gym, or join in other activities available. These opportunities provide healthy ways to connect with others, discover new interests and find balance along the journey of recovery.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR SPIRITUAL GROWTH
St. Christopher’s Inn is a ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, and spiritual direction is available and encouraged. Men may attend Mass, seek spiritual direction, spend quiet time in the Chapel, sing in the SCI Choir or take part in other opportunities for spiritual growth. Men of all faith traditions, as well as those with no faith tradition, are welcomed and respected. Spiritual participation is always a personal choice.
From morning programming to evening self-help meetings, each day offers structure, support, fellowship and opportunities for growth. At St. Christopher’s Inn, recovery from substance use disorder is not a journey men have to make alone. Within a caring recovery community, they can gain the tools, confidence and support to move forward toward a healthier, sober life.
