Medication Assisted Treatment
At St. Christopher’s Inn, our professional medical and clinical staff work in partnership with each client in a partnership to determine the best individual treatment plan within our Day Rehabilitation Program.
For some clients, this means using Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). Medications such as Suboxone, Revia and Vivitrol have been proven to ease opioid withdrawal symptoms, to relieve cravings, and to help people remain in treatment successfully. Revia and Vivitrol are also used successfully in the treatment of alcohol use disorder.
Our long-term goal is abstinence from all addictive substances, which is why our program combines MAT with other evidenced-based treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, individual and group therapy, didactic lectures, family participation in treatment and 12-Step meetings. Personal opportunities for self-growth including participation in spiritual counseling and/or the St. Christopher’s Inn Choir are available to all clients as well.
“The Medical Staff is excellent! They treated me with love and care!”
