This year’s St. Christopher’s Inn Alumni Association Picnic (hosted by SCIAA) was nothing short of a blessing. Brothers in recovery, alums, Friars and Sisters, and friends & family returned to the Holy Mountain in Garrison, NY — a place where so many first encountered harmony, healing, and Franciscan hospitality.

We were honored to welcome the St. Christopher’s Inn Alumni Association (SCIAA) back to the Holy Mountain! Our brother Christopher, a proud alumnus of St. Christopher’s Inn, gathered for a meaningful day of fellowship and reflection.

At St. Christopher’s Inn, healing is not only a personal journey—it’s a shared responsibility. In the spirit of St. Francis and guided by our mission to bring hope and wholeness to men in crisis, we are committed to equipping our community with tools that can save lives.

Brother Benny’s Bakery opened in February with much anticipation and delight. This teachable bakery offers our Brothers Christopher the opportunity to learn baking skills and so much more!

St. Christopher’s Inn is saving lives. Thousands have walked the Holy Mountain seeking healing from addiction. But its mission also extends beyond these hallowed grounds, leading the fight against one of our nation’s greatest crises.

Through a powerful combination of spoken word and song, Reckless Son humanizes the experience of the incarcerated by giving them a voice and telling their stories of hope, forgiveness, and self-discovery.

In September, in honor of National Recovery Month, students from Roy C. Ketcham High School in Wappingers Falls, New York – located 19 miles from Graymoor – spread kindness and hope to the men at St. Christopher’s Inn

On Sunday, September 30, close to 500 of our neighbors, including Friars, Sisters and staff from St. Christopher’s Inn and FOA participated in the 3rd Annual “Be the Bridge: Walk for Recovery” in Poughkeepsie, NY.
