PERSPECTIVE
The virus has been long, but God is by us all
As individuals we survived, and towed the line and did not fall
Through thick and thin, scared with no grimace nor grin
The darkness will not win
Even though God knows we all have sinned
Coughing, sweating, headache and dizzy
Aching, shaking, I won’t let it take me
For my life is too important
My family will soon see, healthy and free.
This brotherhood, so tried and true
I will miss this place, the Inn, the staff, and even the food
Soon I plan to come back and visit
To help the bold, the sick, and the timid
And make my mark and help maybe just one
For this will hopefully be my last time on the other side
Until then, my job on this earth
Will never be done
As I pour out my heart and move on
I will live to forgive myself
Once and for all
