Board of Directors Dinner

This annual event raises funds to support this ministry of the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement.

On June 14, 2018, the Fourteenth Annual Board of Directors Dinner took place at the historic Gotham Hall in midtown Manhattan. The Honorable George and Libby Pataki, long-time friends of the Friars and the Inn, served as the Honorary Dinner Chairs for the event.

The Board of Directors, Friars and Staff of the Inn were proud to honor
David G. McWilliams, President & Chief Executive Officer of JRM Construction Management at this year’s dinner. Under Mr. McWilliams’ leadership, JRM Construction Management has maintained a commitment to supporting community causes both financially and through volunteerism since the company’s inception in 2003.

The JRM website states, “JRM is committed not only to excellence in construction, but excellence in citizenship as well. We take great pride in our community partnerships, volunteerism and support for charitable causes.”

The company does this through both formal and informal giving, including their Community Impact Grants program which allows them to award $20,000 in each of three areas that impact the communities where they work and serve: Education, Health, Housing/Food Security.

Fr. Dennis Polanco, SA, President and Spiritual Director of the Inn said, “Mr. McWilliams and JRM Construction Management embody the spirit of the Friars of the Atonement and their mission to minister to the most marginalized in our broken world. We are so grateful for their support of this event and the men in crisis that we serve at St. Christopher’s Inn as we battle against the worst opioid epidemic our country has ever seen.”
